i wanna start today's blog by taking my hat off to the SOUTH AFRICA.. to the team, to the people, and to the nation as a whole.. to be blatanly honest, who would ever thought that south africa is able to pull WORLD CUP in the very first hand? i always find south africa rather demining - a third world country, an underdeveloped country rich of savana and steppe, and safari of course =)

so i spent the whole day (yesterday) not touching finance 1 AT ALL =) funny (ridicolously funny) things though - i really have NO freaking idea wats finance 1 about.. it's a new subject for me as i have never taken any finance subject before this.. it has 2 lecturers.. first one (who do the first 6 weeks of the course) speaks like russell crowe and i have no freaking idea wat he is talking about.. the second one speaks too slow that i keep falling asleep.. good job kudo! now u r fucking screwed with ur ex cheating on u and fifa world cup fever that u cannot study at all!!!!! hahaha exam in 4 days..

anyway, so yesterday i watched FIFA WORLD CUP OPENING CONCERT - staring Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, and Shakira (and many other african singers whose name i dont know) oh i love SHAKIRA!!!!!!!! she's just so hot and her song is just awesome!!! tsaminga minga eh eh waka waka eh eh xP

and next i watched FIFA WORLD CUP OPENING CEREMONY which was SPECTACULAR.. i AM really amazed by how south africa is able to pull that off! it is so freaking awesome.. for those who is yet to watch, please do.. download it, youtube or anything.. u wont regret it!!!! r kelly is awesome! and this dude named Siphiwo singing the HOPE (featuring message of hope by nelson mandela) also is super awesome!!! the whole thing is just magnificent!!!!!!!!!!
and next was the FIFA WORLD CUP OPENING MATCH: SOUTH AFRICA v MEXICO.. i bet like most if not all would bet on mexico.. like i even thought mexico would at least win (or, yeah, trash south africa) with the likes of ex barcelona and tottenham player (dos santos), arsenal striker's carlos vela and many other upper class player.. in comparison to south africa's itumeleng, thanduyise, surprise mori, and letshoyonyane - oh yes, they have pienaar (everton's midfielder).. but south africa managed to draw! (end score 1-1) they managed to score first!!! and honestly when i watched the match i was rooting for south africa.. i am really proud of their determination, hard work, to not lose the first match and to prove that they are really SOMETHING!!!!! well done, tshabalala!!!! (fyi, tshabalala is a nice name right?)
my support is to england, as always.. but i hope south africa can go all the way to final (and lose to england of course =)
